Planes, Boats, and Automobiles
I thought that I would update you all on our travels. I don't have any pictures to post, but i will try to update that shortly. We left Ketchikan on Wed Feb 20. We had a nice, although at times quite rough, ferry trip to Bellingham. We then spent the weekend in Seattle. We had a great time visiting with different people including the Poets, Smiths, Christy, Janet, Cookes (the younger ones that is), Paul Radford, Josh (the accountant), Linders, Jon and Trista, and Savanah. We enjoyed it a lot. On Monday Matthew and Jasen helped David load up the truck. Thanks to you guys for all your help!!! David is currently driving through California. He and Sydney are both doing well. He's hoping to get to TN by Saturday or Sunday. He assures me that with both he and Syd driving it will be no problem. Abby and I flew out on Monday to DC to stay with my mom and dad and sisters for the week. I will start off by saying that I am not a United Airlines fan and will never fly with them again. Especially if I am flying with a child. The check in process was a mess and even though I did online seat assignment we were place in a middle seat. I complained quite a bit but the agent wouldn't budge and basically told me to deal with it. It's not that I mind being in a middle seat, someone has got to i guess, but with a 9mo old baby? I got on the plane and was seated between two very large men. They were very nice, thankfully. I was up and down the aisles most of the flight as Abby and I had to sit stick straight to even fit with these guys. She did so good and didn't even cry once. I was so thankful, but quite frustrated that it worked out this way. That's my rant and i plan on writing them a letter to give them a piece of my mind. All that to say we are here and glad that's over. My family is great and I'm looking forward to meeting David in Tennessee this weekend. Well keep you all posted and will put some pictures on soon.
I called Dave and told him if he were for some reason, interested in coming out I-70, that the Mutarts would meet him and take him to lunch or dinner. Just a small detour you know. We live just 15 miles north of I-70, very convenient. Just a thought. Josh is going to be moving to Memphis soon and is excited to see Dave again.

We miss you soooo much!!! I don't like this living across the country deal. I am sorry your trip was rough, I would definitly write a letter to United, that is horrible treatment. Hope to see you soon!!!

Veta- I think David is headed through I-40 it's a little more of a straight shot thru to Nashville, but if things change we'll definately give you guys a call. And he has been talking to Josh sounds like we'll be seing him soon! Cookes-we enjoyed our time with you too! I tried the whole angrily talking to myself thing that you do Caren but I guess I'll have to resort to letter writing. And Helen-we miss you guys too!!!

I am still crying and so are Hannah, Shylo and Kenai. We miss our friends. Sorry to hear your flight was horrible. Write them a big ole letter and use your mean voice. :) That is horrible, I can't believe they did that to you. Glad you made it to Mom & Pa's safely. Tell them him for us oh and tell Ally & Sharon Krazy Kristi says hi too!

Hey guys! I am sorry that was how you were treated, fustrating. You need to have more kids, the more you have the less they like to "fight you on it"! =) Please tell your mom and dad hi also! Keep in touch!

Yeah if you have more kids, you will get a whole row to yourself or next time pinch your daughter and make her cry, maybe they will be more willing to accomodate your needs. Ohhhh did I say that??

What a bummer with your plane flight. You would think that they would have a heart and try to accomodate you and Abby, oh well... We miss you lots and are glad to hear that you'll be reunited with David and Sydney very soon.

Thank you so much for stopping by for the weekend! It was great to see you and get to spend time with you before going across the country! Thanks for coming to my church to. That was nice of you to come see where I am living! Hope it's not too long before we can see each other again! May your transition living there be smooth and full of fun!
