GOULD'S HOUSE

Today was Abby's first day of Preschool at Faith Baptist Church. She was a little bit hesitant, but did great and when I picked her up was SOOOO excited! After lunch we also made some special school bus cookies. Here are a few pictures....

This is for Sheila. Abby attended Vacation Bible School this summer, where they gave all the kids a CD of the songs they learned during the week. She loves it and listens to it ALL the time. This song is the theme song "Saddle Ridge Ranch". It's still undecided if she will be the lead singer in David's band. We may need to point her toward other aspirations. :) She is a ham, though, and really enjoyed entertaining everyone any chance she got.

This weekend has been really full here at our house. On Thursday night we had Sheila (David's mom), and Nana (David's grandmother from England) come in for a visit. We also had a good friend from Ketchikan, Becky English, come through town. We didn't get a whole lot of time with Becky, but we'll see her again as she comes back through Virginia in about a week and a half.

On Thursday evening we had a big dinner at my parents which included all of our new visitors as well as Matt Powney (David's cousin/Alli's boyfriend), all of the Maloneys, and all of the Steigleders (some other Ketchikan folks from way back). We had a great time. Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

FYI. There aren't any pictures of me, Jenn, posted in this post as my stomach (which now defies gravity) is too big to even fit in the camera screen. :)

This weekend we went with all the Maloneys, Matthew Powney, most of the Steigleders, and April (one of Alli's roommates) out towards the mountains to go apple and peach picking. We had a great time. After picking lots of fruit we had a picnic lunch and enjoyed all the beautiful views of the orchard. I didn't get a whole lot of pictures, but here are a few from our adventure.
