GOULD'S HOUSE

So one of the things that our little girl is obsessed with are rescue vehicles. Fire Engines, Ambulances, Police Cars (she would also through in Mail Trucks, Dump Trucks, and School Buses). Well a few weekends ago Sharon took Abby on a special adventure to go see Sean's fire truck. Sean, Sharon's boyfriend is a volunteer fire fighter up in Springfield, VA. She had a great time and was soooo excited when she got home to tell us about all the things she saw. They even had a call while she was there so she got to see the guys come down a pole and put their gear on! Some of these pictures are a bit dark, so hopefully you can still see them....

This weekend has been a busy one for our family. We spent most of it moving to our new house. We still have lots of unpacking to do but it's very livable (thanks to the help of "Oh My goodness grandma" Sheila). Today we had a nice dinner at the Maloneys' and Abby enjoyed some sparklers and a popsicle. 4th of July always makes me miss Ketchikan. There is nothing like a small town parade, cruise ships, and lumpia. :) Hope all of you are enjoying the day! :)
