GOULD'S HOUSE

Did you know dogs get sick too? Poor Sydney picked something up at the dog park. She has Kennel Cough. I had never heard of this before now. The first night I was up with her terrified she was going to die. I think a dog coughing is one of the worst sounds. She pulled through, though, and i think is on the mend. I had to barricade her in the kitchen or bathroom to minimize messiness and keep her activity down. She is currently sound asleep on her bed and enjoying the attention. Poor Syd.

Abby had a great party. All the grandmas and grandpas were there. She got some wonderful presents (thank you!!) and had lots of sugar. She wasn't quite sure what to think when I put an entire cupcake down in front of her. She looked around at everyone first then dove in face first :)


Her new stroller is one of her favorites because she loves pushing it around. She also got a baby doll to push in it but the baby has a binky of which she is quite jealous. :)


She ate the entire cupcake and even licked the frosting off her hands. So much sugar! Needless to say we were up at about 2am as she was ready to play!



Mmmmm. A great day!

I can't believe our Abby is one. I was looking back through pictures this morning and it amazes me how quickly she has grown over the last year. Here are a few our our very happy little girl....

Yes we are obsessed. All of our blogs are now focused around Abby. I guess there just isn't much else to write about. Grandma's and Grandpa's are all coming in next week and we are looking forward to it! It's getting warmer and I, Jenn, am starting to get a little more concerned (I'm not always my congenial self in the warmer degrees). Poor Sydney doesn't care for hot weather either, at least her hair doesn't. I'm thinking about dying her hair beige to match the carpet. I decided to continue my search for a part-time job here. I wasn't too impressed with the hospital. To all you Ladies in Ketchikan - be very thankful, it is a very different world in Labor and Delivery down here.
