DC Trip

On August 22 Sharon, Abby, and I flew to DC to visit Grandma and Grandpa Maloney. Abby did great on the plane. We were there for about a week when David flew out to join us for one more week. It was quite hot the first week we were there in the 100's! It started to cool down to the 80's and 90's by the end of our time. Abby had a hard time with the time change and was a little bit grumpy, but now she's back to normal. It was a great time with my family. My mom and I took Abby swimming a couple of times, I spent lots of time at Target (the greatest store ever!), and lots of time hanging out. We went up to Grandpa's office in DC one day and had lunch - he is a very proud grandpa:) We also got to see my mom's brother, Uncle Mark, his wife, and one of my cousins Craig. It was a great trip!

Playing in the green grass. She was very excited about putting her feet on it! She is truly a Ketchikan baby when real grass gets her excited :)

At the pool near my parents house. They had a great kiddie pool just perfect for us! Grandpa's office in DC. He had lots of fun showing her off.

Oh, the other fun thing we got to do was to go out on a date! David and I went to the Melting Pot. It's a fondue restaurant. That was a lot of fun and absolutely delicious - I especially loved desert - chocolate fondue! That's pretty much our trip. Can't wait to do it again soon....

Little Liver

Well, David is starting her off early. She is already a big Liverpool fan. She was pretty enthralled with the game as you can see. :) They even won the big game. She was very happy about it....well she's always happy, but she was extra happy. Now all she needs is a guitar and she'll be a full fledged daddy's girl!!

Summer's End

Well summer is officially over. We've had lots going on in the last couple of months.....a great visit with Sharon, our second anniversary, lots of hikes and walks, Abby's first airplane ride, a trip to Grandma and Grandpa Maloney (and Auntie Alli of course!), Sydney's second birthday, and Abby is now four months old! I have lots of pictures of all of these so i will post them gradually. I'll start with our anniversary. I decided to surprise my husband and took him on the new (at least new to me) White River Adventure Kart tour. Sharon stayed with Abby and i took my suspicious husband down town. We then got to go on a boat which took us all the way around to White River. There we got geared up and took the 5 mile trail up to Mahoney Lake. It was nice out but it had recently rained so we got pretty muddy. It was a lot of fun. I definately recommend it to anyone who visits (or lives here for that matter). We also got to go to dinner that evening. We had a great time! Here are a few pictures... Oh, and don't worry i have lots of Abigail pictures to come!
