Chi Town

Here are a couple more pics from our trip. We went up to the top of the John Hancock building which is about 97 stories, not quite as high as the sears tower but close. We also had the chance to go to a cubs game on Wednesday night. There was about an hour rain delay but it was still a lot of fun. I didn't realize it when we were there but the cubs pitchers combined for a one hitter against the Nationals. Going to Wrigley was a good experience, one of the hallowed halls of baseball. Jenn and I got two hot dogs drinks and fries and it cost 62 dollars, well not quite but ball park refreshments are spendy.

Just a little note about American Idol. I think Taylor has the edge after last nights show and will probably win tonight. The song that was written for Katherine, the one that is supposed to be her first hit, was one of the worst songs I have ever heard. It was so cheesy, it reminded me of songs I heard at Sea World during the shamu show. My dog could have written a better song, Taylor's song wasn't much better but Katherine's was, as Simon would say, absolutely abysmal. The i-pod is the greatest invention of all time.

We're Home

We made it home. We had a great trip. Too much to tell in one post. We left on Tuesday, May 9 and flew through the night to Orlando. We then drove about an hour and a half to Kevin and Sheila's house in Sebring, Florida. After a wonderful 6 days we drove to my Uncle Dan's house. We stayed the night with them in Lakeland, FL and flew to Chicago the next day. We ended up with a two night layover in Chicago which was lots of fun, but way to fast. Then we were off to Seattle. Stayed one night in Seattle then met up with Jasen and Helen and the kids. We picked up the babies and flew back home. It was a great trip. Here are a few pictures and we'll put up more later. It's good to be home.
