Let's hear it for Jenn

First, I need people to comment and say they want Jenn to post now and then. She has been resistant but I want her say stuff too, so let her know. Second, I would like to congratulate myself on coming in 250,000th place in ESPN.COM's college basketball tournament challenge. Basically my bracket stunk. For those of you who don't know what a bracket is, you try and guess the winners of all the games of the NCAA tournament and you write them down in your bracket until you get to the last two, then you pick a winner and see how it compares to the real event. I commited the cardinal sin and picked all four #1 seeds to go to the final four, which has never ever happened. Right now I am rooting for the underdog George Mason to go all the way, plus George Mason is a character from the tv show "24" which is all the more reason why they should win. Speaking of "24", I saw a trailer for a movie called "The Sentinel" on the tv the other day and my main man Jack Bauer is in it (definitely a must see). Finally, this week I built a fence to keep sydney on our deck. This is the first thing that I have ever built.

This picture surfaced about 3 weeks ago and I was debating whether to show it because it makes me look light in the loafers. Jeremy is about the only one who comes out with any coolness intact. We are having a social in a couple of weeks so it's going to be time to bust out the disco duds again, only this time I will try not to look like a girl. Posted by Picasa

Winters Last Stand and Other Stuff

First of all, my guitar didn't sell, which is too bad. I relisted it and tweeked a few things and it is getting more attention this time around. Hopefully someone will bite this time. Second, it's about a week from the start of spring and we are having the coldest, swootest weather of the year. As you can see from the picture, it's about 17 degrees out in the middle of the afternoon. It's supposed to get down to about 10 degrees tonight, it's the middle of March for crying out loud. I took Sydney out for a walk in the snow today and at least she is enjoying it. The third picture is from the Saint Patricks day cancer auction that we played at on Saturday night. It was a good time, I'd say about 400 people were there to spend money and listen to the rollicking Irish muzak.

Pics

Sharon or Alison wanted to see pictures of Jenn and the Dog so here you go. The one of Sydney was taken about 30 minutes ago. She's growing pretty fast. The one of Jenn and I was taken about a month ago when we went on a hike up connell lake trail.

E baying

I have decided to sell one of my guitars, and thought I would try ebay. It's the first time I have sold anything on ebay so we'll see if anyone bites. You can go check it out if you want, just type Avalon Legacy series into the search bar and my guitar should come up. You could even bid on it if you want (reserve is only 3800 bucks). Anyway, if I sell the guitar it's goodbye credit card debt, wahoo! It'll be sad to part with it, but it doesn't have any sentimental value like my lowden, and it's too nice to be the workhorse guitar like my other cheapo Avalon. The dog is in one of the pictures.
